Community Grieving
Many societies grieve in community, they come together to express their pain as a group and receive support from one another. This is something that has been lost from our society as we have become more individualistic. This event offers you the opportunity to come together with others to grieve as one. Its is a powerful experience to witness and be witnessed by others while we grieve.
National Grief Awareness Week
During this week you are encouraged to acknowledge your grief and engage with you pain in a constructive manner. This event helps you to express your grieve in a supportive environment. It allows your pain in your heart to be heard by others and they to have their pain heard too.
Grief Never Ends
Time heals all wounds it is often said. However, this is not true in the case of grief. You adjust and assimilate your pain, transmuting for loss into memories and adjust your relationship into a new more meaningful relationship that reflects your new circumstance.
The Ceremony
A simple ceremony allows you to state your grief and to be witnessed. It may be a loss of a loved one, for the state of the world, for a living loss such as loss of youth, children leaving home. It is important to say that this is not a grief coaching session. However, it is a powerful event to allow you to simple state what you are grieving.
Materials
Before the start of the event you will be sent an outline of the ceremony and some simple conditions to ensure everyone feels safe to take part.
