Sometimes we just can’t sleep or we have a niggling pain or discomfort or even we feel disconnected from our bodies. Body scan or flow can help us to reconnect to ourselves.  By traveling though our bodies looking at what each part is currently experiencing is a soothing experience for most people.  Often starting at the feet and move upwards towards the crown of the head naming each part looking for tension, slackness, warmth or coolness. Is a common approach and one taken in the guided session associated with this article.

You can also alternate muscle tension and relaxation as well to help the body let go and you to connect.
